Mentedge Consulting is proud to partner with the Rainbow Coalition of Waterloo Region (RCWR) to offer Virtual Introduction to Personality Dimensions Workshops for grassroots & not-for-profit organizations (and their supporters and allies) supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Waterloo Region.

Personality Dimensions® is based on leading-edge research into human motivation and behaviour and helps to explain what motivates behaviour in people with different personalities or temperaments. It is a Canadian program that provides an easily understood methodology for building self-awareness, self-esteem and effective communication strategies. Personality Dimensions® emphasizes the self-discovery process and uses cards and group activities to engage the participant and reinforce learning. During this interactive workshop, the facilitator guides participants through the Personality Dimensions® assessment tool and explores the core needs and values associated with their individual temperaments. Participants will also engage with others to explore how different temperaments can contribute to interpersonal dynamics.

This workshop is being offered in partnership with RCWR as part of their commitment to provide resources, workshops, and training to promote collaboration between - grassroot, non-profit organizations, and other social enterprises that support the Rainbow Community in Waterloo Region. The workshop does not contain specific 2SLGBTQ+ content.

Sessions Available

There are two sessions scheduled to provide flexibility for participants (only register for one session):

• Saturday, December 10th from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm

• Wednesday, December 14th from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm

While 4-hour time slots have been scheduled, the workshops are 3.5 – 4 hours in length.

Cost

Registration fees for these discounted sessions will be $50 for staff and volunteers working with grassroots and non-profit organizations supporting the 2SLGBTQ+ community in Waterloo Region. Registration fees for supporters and allies of these organizations is $65. A portion of all registration fees will be donated to the Rainbow Coalition of Waterloo.

Important Notes:

• 14 registrations (and a maximum of 24 registrations) are required to proceed with each scheduled session.

• Participants will need to complete an online assessment about a week prior to each workshop.

• Workshops will be conducted virtually via Zoom. Due to the interactive nature of the workshop, participants must be comfortable joining the session on camera.

Facilitator

Jeremy Steffler (he/they) is the Founder and Principal Consultant of Mentedge Consulting, as well as a member of the Board of the Rainbow Coalition of Waterloo Region. He has over two decades of experience supporting individual and collective capacity building in Waterloo Region’s 2SLGBTQ+ community.

Jeremy has been facilitating Personality Dimensions® sessions for over a decade, supporting individuals and organizations with team building, leadership development, and conflict management. Jeremy also offers multi-days sessions exploring interpersonal conflict using Personality Dimensions® through Conrad Grebel University College’s Conflict Management Certificate Program.
